I'll look for it on TCM. But great article and analogy between the two films, THE MOON IS BLUE & GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES, and between McNamara & Monroe. I agree Marilyn never got the recognition she deserved as a gifted comedic actress. As you said, good comedy is extremely difficult to do. It's like Cary Grant never won an Oscar for all of his brilliant comedic work, but at least he did get nominated, unlike Marilyn.
