When I think of him, the first thing that comes to mind was a time he was interviewed by Johnny Carson, on the Tonight Show. I don't remember exactly when that was, but it must have been the late 70s.

I watched the movie when it debuted the other night. Although I thought the acting was great, overall, I was a little turned off by the Liberace character and hoped that it was a bit of an exaggeration. There were times that it seemed a little bit like a caricature. I deleted it off of my DVR, thinking that it was good, but not so much that I would ever want to watch it a second time. Then, it came on after something else I was watching last night and I sat there and watched it again. I liked it a little bit better the second time. I still had to forward it through the end, where he gives a "rendering" of the theme from Man of La Mancha. As a singer, who had a short but sweet opera career, before giving it up to raise children, it was a little too hard on the ears!

I would love to hear what you think of it!

Darillyn Lamb Starrnoelanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06459339092491148181noreply@blogger.com
